Odiogo.com - Autocast Technology The main title explains a new wave that is hitting the way that we blog today. How would you like to have a way to capture the attention of people that don’t necessarily have the time to read your blog post but they are none the less very interested in what you have to say.

I just found a service you can use on your blog that turns your written word into voice! This gives you the ability to turn your Blog into speech. You may want to hold on to your computer when I tell you how much this service is going to cost you. Wait for it! This service can be implemented on your blog Absolutely Free! Is this not the coolest thing that you have seen in a long time? I have to admit I have known about this technology for a little while now.

It can be found by going to Odiogo.com.

I did not implement in on my blog till now because I was having an issue with my full text option in my admin area! I am still having the issue but I can still show you how it looks and sounds. I just can not enable the “full Text” radio button even though it says that it is activated. The issue will be resolved so you can listen to some of my longer posts while you work or surf the net. ;)

So what is autocasting.

I found a definition that I think explains what it is, and below you will find the definition and the resource of where I obtained the direct quote.

Autocasting.

Autocasting is an automated form of podcasting that allows bloggers and blog readers to generate audio versions of text blogs from RSS feeds. Autocasting software uses XML parsers, TTS (text-to-speech) engines, and audio conversion utilities to convert text blogs into audio files that can be placed on a blog for download, synchronized to a portable audio device, or played on a desktop computer.
